As of version 2.0, Board Master is now multi-node & multi-tasking.
Meaning more than 1 user can be playing at the same time.
Board Master automatically detects multi-tasking systems; specifically,
Windows, DESQview, OS/2, & TOPview. It gives up time slices which will
help prevent one of your nodes from hogging the CPU. There are no extra
requirements needed from you. Detection and time slicing are all automatic.
MULTI-NODE SETUP:
================
If you operate a multi-node system and don't already know how to
setup a door for multi-node operation, then read on.
Edit your batch file-
Your going to need to modify it so it passes the node number
to Board Master.
Most all BBSs have some way of doing this. See your BBS docs for
the specifics. Example of door batch file:
Ex: cd\bbs\doors\bm
if %1 == 1 then node1
if %1 == 2 then node2
if %1 == 3 then node3
:node1
bbsmstr door1.cfg ibbs
if exist online.flg del online.flg
:node2
bbsmstr door2.cfg ibbs
if exist online.flg del online.flg
:node3
bbsmstr door3.cfg ibbs
if exist online.flg del online.flg
In this example the node number was passed to the batch file as the
1st parameter and then passed on to Board Master by telling it which
.CFG file to use.
You must of course have already created seperate .CFGs for each node.
Check the main documentation for details on how to create your DOOR.CFG.
